Back 2 School time...

Good morning/afternoon to any of my ex-students. I will not be using this blog much this year because I will spend that time on Facebook. I found this blog was used more by my NASA students than my darling 8th graders ... they connect with facebook. Feel free to email me and hope to see/hear you soon.

Getting ready!

Good morning to the world. The end of the year is coming which means NASA time is a coming. I look forward to meeting all the new groups over at Ames and opening their eyes to the world of STEM. To all of my students, good luck on testing. We are almost done with astronomy ... we get to land on the moon this week in class. Enjoy.

Astronomy Nights...

Well tonight we are trying our first astronomy night. And here is the fog. Will try and have one once a month on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Luck is not with us when it comes to star gazing. Did we get to watch the amazing eclipse -fog - so no. Last night the fog did not come in until around 9 so I'm thinking we will be okay ... fog in at 6. Oh well. Everyone is safe so no real complaints. I will let the students tell me what they want to look for next month. I'm thinking they will want to look at the moon.
